Welcoming some really positive lifestyle changes, the TNH Detox Programs have a range of benefits for detoxers depending on their personal goals and how much they dedicate themselves to a complete lifestyle change.
Some of the most common benefits we see across the TNH community include:
We believe the key to success in reaching your goals is having a support network of like-minded people who can relate to your experiences.
For this reason, we’re really passionate about the TNH community we’ve built, and continue to grow with every person we welcome into our programs.
As part of the TNH family, you’ll gain access to our private Facebook group where past and present detoxers will share stories and insights about their personal experiences.
The TNH team also pride ourselves on being available for free advice, motivational coaching and to help you understand how to make the most of your detox.
Your body is going through a range of changes, and it’s normal to experience a bit of constipation. Don’t stress. Emptying the bowels every 2-3 days is common as your body adjusts to smaller amounts of food. If you experience constipation, make sure to drink lots of water to help move things along.
During this adjustment period, it’s also possible to experience headaches and light-headedness. This is another common side effect associated with your detox and should clear up within a couple of days. If you become concerned, make an appointment with your GP, particularly if it continues for more than 10 days.
Other side effects, such as leg cramps or rashes, can also occur during your detox. These are less common but can occur in some people due to reduced potassium in your diet. If you notice either of these during your detox, grab yourself a potassium supplement, and they should clear up within a couple of days.
The Loading Phase lasts for the first two days of your detox and involves taking your Activate drops or pellets as well as eating more than you normally would – preferably foods high in good fats and natural sugars.
This phase is vital as it takes two days for the drops to trigger the release of stored energy from your fat cells. It also prepares your body for the Detox Phase, so it’s important not to skip it.
Our TNH Program User Guide explains the Loading Phase in more detail. It is included in all our programs or can be purchased separately.
In the Detox Phase, your Activate drops or pellets will trigger the release of calories into your bloodstream from the cells that contain stored fat. The foods you eat during this phase are essentially just supplementing these calories. Eating real food (not processed shakes or bars) helps maintain a healthy digestive system and re-establishes good eating habits.
This phase is also known as the Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD) phase. Thanks to the Activate drops/pellets, you will be able to limit your intake to 500 calories per day (chosen from the foods listed in your TNH Program User Guide).
It is important not to eat more than the recommended portions of protein, fruit and starch as this will affect your weight loss. You should also aim to drink between 2 – 3 litres of water per day.

The Maintenance Phase is a very important part of all the TNH programs. It is always exciting to see the results of your diligence on the completion of phase 2 but now is the time to consolidate those results.
The main purpose of the Maintenance Phase is to give your hypothalamus time to reset your metabolism so that you can live a healthy, happy lifestyle without worrying about those kilos creeping back on.

The best part of all! After the program, you can begin to reintroduce the foods you love.
Aim to introduce starches one at a time and pay attention to your body’s reaction. If certain foods cause symptoms like gas or bloating, it may be worth dropping this food from your diet altogether.
Remember to continue the healthy eating habits you’ve established. This means not skipping meals and enjoying all foods in moderation. It also means limiting processed foods to avoid a slippery slope that could undo all your great work.
